From being a transfer target for Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, a top PSL striker finds himself facing uncertain future with his club heading into the second half of the season.
For the better part of last season as he was scoring goals for Royal AM, Victor Letsoalo had been a target for Amakhosi and the Buccaneers but it was Sekhukhune United who won the race for his signature as he became a marquee signing for the ambitious club.

Despite joining Babina Noko in July, Letsoalo remained a target for Chiefs as indicated by sources at the time who said the striker's progress would be monitored during the course of the 2022/23 season.
However, the player has had a disappointing season so far and failed to replicate the form of the previous campaign, with the indications that even his employers at Sekhukhune are disappointed at how he has struggled to score goals.
So far in the current campaign, the 29-year-old has netted two goals and has had a hand on two other goals for the team with assists from 12 matches.
"Victor Letsoalo is under pressure to score goals to help Sekhukhune out of their position at the bottom of the log. He joined the club as a big signing and a lot was expected from him and other senior players," said the source.

"The club management isn't happy about the team's position in relegation zone, and you can see that from the recent changes made to the technical team. If the situation persists, some players will be affected too and he (Letsoalo) could be one of them. He was a target of the big clubs previously but no one is talking about that anymore as goals have dried up," the source added.
