Alondwe is a promising midfielder and the current captain of Sabina Noko's DDC team. Indications are that his leadership skills have convinced the technical team to give him a chance at a higher level.
"He is very talented and just as hard-working and skilled as Tebogo Mokoena from Mamelodi Sundowns. The club wants to keep him, which is why the CEO of Sekhukhune United said two weeks ago that he would give him a professional contract. They gave him the captain's armband just eight months after he started playing for them. That's how good he is. Soon, he will start playing for the first team to adapt to the system," a source told Soccer Laduma.

The 20-year-old is understood to have spent time, training with the senior team during the off-season.
"He did very well during pre-season training. That's when the club saw that he is a future Tebogo Mokoena and offered him a senior team contract. It's not a done deal yet, as there are just a few loose ends that need to be addressed, but they are ready to tie him down long term," the source informed the Siya crew.
Soccer Laduma made attempts at contacting Sekhukhune United CEO Jonas Malatji, with no response.
