Bafana Bafana international Kamohelo Mokotjo has secured a move to DStv Premiership Sekhukhune United.
The 31-year-old was a free agent after parting ways with Major League Soccer side Cincinnati FC at the end of the 2021 season.

The former Brentford midfielder has now put pen-to-paper on a one-and-a-half year deal with Sekhukhune.

Sekhukhune United Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Defensive Midfielder Kamohelo "The General" Mokotio from FC Cincinnati (USA) on a one vear and half contract.
Born in Kutloanong Location, Odendaalsrus, 11 March 1991, Mokotjo (31) began his career with Supersport United Academy. He was promoted into the first team squad at the age of 16 years, then moved to Feyenoord the same year to begin his international career in the Netherlands, which lasted until 2017.
'The General' moved to England in 2017 to play for Brentford FC where he played for three seasons before moving to the US to join FC Cincinnati, a team in the Major League Soccer (MLS).

Mokotjo, the former Bafana Bafana midfielder, also captained South Africa's U12 national team called 'Tsetse Flies' to victory at the 2003 Danone Nations Cup in France and was named Player of the Tournament.
Kamohelo was also a member of the South Africa U20 squad that competed at the
2009 U20 World Cup. He has also played for the U23 team and was part of the senior team that took part in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

However, the player also expressed his gratitude for having joined the 'Babina Noko' family and he is ready to join the rest of the squad.
