The Mosimane name is one that is all too familiar to the 68-year-old. After all, Friday was the second occasion in which 'Jingles' has denied his side continental glory, after first pulling it off with Mamelodi Sundowns in 2019.
The president, who along with his entire board were recently suspended by the Sports Ministry, in famous fashion took to Facebook to congratulate Ahly for their win, but not without throwing shade at Mosimane, who he claims was tactically and technically outclassed.
"You are men and heroes. For the first time, Zamalek fans are not sad about losing a championship, but because of what happened," Mansour said in reference to his Zamalek players.
"They have stolen the championship from you, Pacheco surpassed Mosimane technically and tactically, not with my testimony, but with everyone else's testimony," Mansour wrote.

Mansour, was also miffed at the fact that he was not allowed into the Cairo Stadium for the big spectacle last Friday.
For Mosimane meanwhile, he continued with his purple patch in Egypt after ensuring his side secured passage to the Egyptian Cup finals after beating Al- Ittihad in a come-from-behind victory on Tuesday evening.
