Mokwena and his Wydad outfit found out their fate on Thursday evening as they were drawn in a tough group against Juventus, Manchester City and Al Ain.
However, it is the match against the Citizens that has tongues wagging, as there have been a number of comparisons made between Mokwena and Guardiola, owing to their similar approach to the game of football.

Following the draw, Mokwena voiced his excitement about coming up against two of Europe's powerhouses.
"When you are in a group like this, you cannot lose, you will play against very good teams. Manchester City, of course, we know the quality they have, Juventus is a strong team and they probably play the best football, maybe like City, and Al Ain are the Asian champions, so when you play in a group like this, you cannot lose," he told Wydad's official media channels.
"We will try to win one match in the World Cup. This is Wydad's third Club World Cup and there are no easy matches for the team. We will try to win one and then we will see what happens, because even if you do not qualify from the group, the experience you will gain from playing against Manchester City and Juventus is an experience that will make the team stronger for the coming seasons," he added.
