Following his successes with Galaxy which include winning the League on two occasions since joining the club in 2021, Ramoreboli was appointed as the interim coach of Botswana in October.

In a short space of time in charge, the Bloemfontein-born coach led the Zebras to qualify for their second ever Africa Cup of Nations finals to be held in Morocco next year.
In recent weeks, Ramoreboli has been facing an uncertain future with Galaxy as juggling between the two roles for the club and country has been a bit of a challenge for him.
Having qualified Botswana for AFCON, Morena has had the Botswana Football Association working on appointing him permanently as the national team coach, which is why he has now stepped down from his role at Galaxy.
