Kaizer Chiefs could be back in for Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali in the upcoming transfer window in January, the Siya crew has learnt.
Since last season, Chiefs have been linked with the Chilli Boys and Nigeria number one as several clubs in the PSL and abroad were reportedly looking at him.

In the end, it was decided that the 28-year-old would stay with Chippa on an improved new three-year contract to continue leading the side in their resurgence under head coach Kwanele Kopo.
So far this season, Nwabali has led the Gqeberha-based outfit as their captain to 6th on the Betway Premiership standings and in serious competition with the likes of Golden Arrows and Sekhukhune United, among others, for the Top 8 spot.
According to sources, Chiefs have been impressed with Nwabali's progress, with the indications that the club could re-visit their interest.
So far this season, Chiefs have appeared to have problems in goalkeeping and defence, having conceded 13 goals, which is the league's highest, in their nine games.
The Soweto giants have failed to keep a clean sheet despite trying three different keepers in Fiacre Ntwari, Brandon Peterson and Bruce Bvuma so far in their campaign.
Following the team's 1-1 draw with TS Galaxy yesterday, head coach Nasreddine Nabi communicated plans to reinforce the squad, and according to sources Nwabali is one of the players targeted for a move to Naturena once again.

"Chiefs are interested in Nwabali again. Expect the club to push hard in pursuit of his signature this time around. The team's defensive record is worrying for the technical team and management, and they will be using the next few weeks to work on a possible solution," said the source.
Nwabali has previously spoken openly about his love for Amakhosi and his wish to play for the club, so watch this space on Soccer Laduma.
