George Lebese can now officially get his career kickstarted once again after he was announced by his new club overseas.
The Siya crew reported on Thursday that the 30-year-old attacker had become a target for United Soccer League outfit, Colorado Springs Switchbacks, who have a South African head coach that was looking to bring him on board.
Now, with the 2020 USL season not too far away, the Switchbacks have now officially confirmed his signing as their latest player, with the ex-Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns man eager to turn over a new leaf in a fresh environment.
A statement from the club read, " The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today that the club has signed George Lebese, pending USL Championship and USSF approval."
Lebese becomes the latest signing announced by the American side this week after they confirmed the pending arrival of 24-year-old striker, Luke Ferreira from Norwegian outfit, FK Jerv, earlier in the week.
The former Amakhosi man will now be eager to get to work under Koch's guidance Stateside as preparations continue for the season ahead, with a fresh debut on the cards in what could be an exciting new year for 'Geeza'.
