As if the transfer ban imposed on her club was not enough and the DA coming for them over the Msunduzi Municipality sponsorship millions, Royal AM boss Shauwn Mkhize has the taxman breathing heavily down her neck.
The South African Revenue Services (SARS) is chasing Mkhize for a R37 million tax bill and the high court of South Africa has ordered for the Royal AM owner to pay up.

In a matter between the commissioner for the South African Revenue Service and Royal AM, a judgement was made.
"1. The payment of the sum of R37, 915, 549.77 [Thirty-seven million nine hundred and fifteen thousand five hundred and forty-nine rand and seventy-seven cents].
"2. Interest on the sum claimed in paragraph 1 at the applicable rate per annum from 1 November 2023 to date of payment, the said rate[s] of interest and date from which such interest is payable having been determined by the Execution Creditor / Plaintiff [SARS]."
The Warrant of Execution from the High Court has directed the sheriff of the court "to attach and remove the movable property of the Royal AM". The Siya crew understands that this includes her home and luxury vehicles.

Royal AM received a transfer ban for failing to pay R12 million to Samir Nurkovic, while the Democratic Alliance has come out fighting for the R27 million which the Msunduzi Municipality has sponsored Royal AM with.
