Royal AM currently find themselves languishing in the bottom half of the Premiership standings in 14th place and are currently embroiled in a FIFA transfer ban, owing to the unfair dismissal of striker Samir Nurkovic.
As they try and navigate turbulent waters, the club has on Thursday come out to provide clarity on talk that they could be for sale.
In a statement in which they heap praise on the Msunduzi Municipality, they also used the opportunity to set the record straight on talk of the club being on the market.
"I would like to take this opportunity to state clearly that despite rumours and gossips that have been making rounds on social media, Royal AM IS NOT FOR SALE. We made a commitment with the people of Pietermaritzburg through our partnership with Msunduzi Municipality that we value, cherish and respect and we can all rest assured that Royal AM is here to stay and prosper," the statement read in part.
