An offence committed while still with Orlando Pirates will cause a delay for Happy Jele on his long-awaited return to topflight football despite having signed for a new club.
Magents, as the veteran defender is known in football circles, last played in the DStv Premiership last season.

While many thought that he could decide to retire after he delayed in getting a new club.
As confirmed by Royal AM on Friday morning, the 36-year-old former Pirates captain has joined the KwaZulu-Natal club.
However, it should be noted that the experienced centre-back will not be immediately available for John Maduka's side as he will be serving a two-match suspension.
Jele was red carded in Bucs' final match of last season against SuperSport United, which must still be in the records of the authorities.

According to SAFA rules with regards to red cards and suspensions:
"Any period of suspension or part thereof that remains outstanding at the end of a season must be served at the commencement of the following season. SAFA will keep records of all players and club officials "red carded" and "ordered off," respectively, but SAFA will not be obliged to advise the player's team or official's team, the player or the team official of any "red cards" or "ordering off" offences received by the player or team official, respectively, or to advise the player's team or team official's team, the player or team official of the automatic suspension or the period of suspension set out above, the onus being on the player's team or official's team, the player and team official to keep their own accurate records of "red card" and "ordered off" offences and to ensure that the player or team official immediately serves the periods of suspension set out above."
