Despite being linked with retirement, experienced Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands has opened up about his commitment to the club and the game.
Following their disappointing 0-0 draw against Stellenbosch FC in the Mother City on Tuesday, Sandilands has promised that the Buccaneers will fight until the end, as teams across the league aim to deliver on their different objectives for the campaign.
The 37-year-old made some crucial saves as many believe that Stellies were unfortunate not to win, and following his impressive showing, the shot-stopper was named as the Man of the Match.
"Not the result we wanted but we will continue to push until the end. Grateful for this award. Blessed to be doing what I love every day. Still as hungry and committed as ever," the experienced goalkeeper said on Twitter.
