The teenage sensation capped off his remarkable season with the Nedbank Cup Most Promising Player of the Season and DStv Premiership Young Player of the Season accolades to the delight of his growing number of fans.
The 19-year-old, who is expected to form the core of coach Jose Riveiro's team as Bucs will be out to defend their MTN8 and Nedbank Cup trophies again while also competing in other competitions, has been touted for an overseas move, having previously attended trials at Wolverhampton Wanderers in England.
The talented player was previously linked with Levante FC in Spain where Pirates had their pre-season for the second year in a row.
While Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos, who recently handed Rele his senior national team debut urged the youngster to continue with his career in the PSL for now, Tshabalala believes that the Sharpeville-born player is ready for the next step.

"Why not? If Messi could do it as young as he was, why can't Rele do it? What is so wrong about Rele that he should wait? If he goes there, he will learn. Let him go there and he will become a better player," said Tshabalala, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.
"I think he is ready for the challenge. I don't think he can ever fail us, as long as his behaviour is as it is now and if the personality is intact, I don't see him failing wherever he goes. He will make it," concluded Tshabalala.
