A return is bandied about for an Orlando Pirates midfielder who has been a notable absentee from the matchday squads, as indicated by sources in the know.
With only two appearances – one in the CAF Champions League preliminaries and the other in the MTN8 semi-finals – Miguel Timm has struggled for game time so far this season and questions have been asked about his absence.

Last season, Timm made 22 league appearances with 17 starts and was influential as the Buccaneers went on to finish in second place, with eight of his other appearances made in the different other competitions.
As Bucs have been winning and consistent this season prior to their disappointing loss against Magesi FC in the Carling Knockout on the weekend, Jose Riveiro had been commended for sticking with his winning formula as Timm and other stars found themselves either on the bench or in the stands.
Following Thalente Mbatha's costly injury and the Magesi result which has been termed as a wake-up call by some, Timm could be nearing a return to the matchday squads, according to sources.

"It is all about managing the squad and these things happen at all the clubs and to any player. The guy (Timm) has been working hard and will be ready for his chance when it is presented to him. He is close (to a return)," said the source.
Pirates will welcome SuperSport United to Orlando Stadium on Tuesday for their Betway Premiership clash as both teams aim to move up the log.
