Orlando Pirates appear to have made a decision on one of the team's midfielders in line with their preparations for the second round of the season.
After being linked with a move away from the Buccaneers due to his lack of game time, Nkanyiso Zungu is likely to remain with the club until at least the end of the season, according to sources in the know.
AmaZulu and Stellenbosch FC had been keen to sign the player on loan, however, indications are that the Soweto giants are not looking at parting ways with the 26-year-old as co-coaches Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids want to have enough depth for the different competitions that the team is involved in this season.
Apart from the DStv Premiership and Nedbank Cup on Bucs' schedule, the team wills till feature in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Zungu is valued highly at Pirates but tough competition for places in the line-ups have affected his progress, as previously mentioned by Ncikazi.
