Former Orlando Pirates administration officer Floyd Mbele is believed to be the club's preferred choice to make a dramatic return, the Siya crew has been informed.
Insiders close to Pirates have indicated that Mbele, who recently departed Sekhukhune United, is expected to rejoin the Buccaneers ahead of next season.

The Siya sources added that Mbele's return could coincide with the arrival of a new coach, who the Buccaneers are expected to announce before their pre-season preparations begin.
"You know since he left and since the passing away of Screamer Tshabalala there has been a shortage in options to work close with the team. There are other administrators. But that's why it's believed that Mbele is coming back next season. The good thing is that he knows the team very well and apparently he will be working with the new coach who the team will appoint," the Siya source stated.
A second insider mentioned that Mbele will be expected to collaborate with former 'Fees Must Fall' leader Mcebo Dlamini within the same Bucs admin department, adding another layer of familiarity and continuity to the club's setup.
"What I know is that Floyd and Mcebo will be working together. You know Mbele was there when coach Jose Riveiro arrived and it's believed that they want him to be there when the new coach comes in. I think it will be good for the team as he had been there for some time now (in the past)," the second source revealed to Soccer Laduma.

Mbele is familiar with Bucs, having been with the club for many years in various stints, while also gaining experience at University of Pretoria, Platinum Stars, and most recently, Sekhukhune United. His potential return could provide valuable insight and stability as Pirates prepare for a new chapter.
The Siya crew contacted Pirates for official comment on Mbele but no response was received by the time this report was published.
Soccer Laduma will continue to monitor and report on developments as they unfold.
