An Orlando Pirates star is in race against time for their upcoming fixture this weekend, the club has confirmed.
Having progressed to the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup after defeating third tier outfit Dondol Stars last weekend, the Buccaneers are aiming for their winning momentum to continue in the league as the race for the sought-after CAF Champions League spot is hotting up.

Bucs will face Cape Town City at Orlando Stadium in their next fixture on Saturday and the club has confirmed that there are concerns on the readiness of defender Tapelo Xoki who has been one of the impressive players in his first season with the team.
"Pirates did not come out of their marathon cup fixture completely unscathed, with defender Tapelo Xoki emerging as the main injury worry after being stretchered off the field deep into extra time," Pirates confirmed on the club's official website.

"The centre-back is in a race against time in a bid to be fit for Saturday, having started the build-up to Saturday's clash with some light training," confirmed the club.
