Another Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu deal could be on the cards, according to sources, following Makhehleni Makhaula's move from the Durban-based club to the Soweto giants.
Pirates confirmed the signing of Makhaula, who has been the captain of Usuthu, on transfer deadline day, on a one-and-a-half-year deal.

In moving from the KwaZulu-Natal giants to Bucs, Makhaula follows in the footsteps of Tapelo Xoki, who had also been a captain for Usuthu at some point in his career.
Xoki secured his move prior to the beginning of the season, while Bucs and Usuthu had also been involved in a deal for Gabadinho Mhango who made the switch to KZN in June.
According to well-placed sources, Pirates midfielder Ben Motshwari's situation is being monitored at AmaZulu.
As it is now common knowledge, Motshwari will see his contract with the Buccaneers expire at the end of the season.
As reported in edition 1309 of Soccer Laduma, Pirates have opened talks with the midfielder's camp as the two parties look to extend Motshwari's spell.
Depending on what Pirates' decision will be, sources have revealed that the central midfielder's situation is closely monitored by AmaZulu with an interest to sign him.
"You know, Pirates and AmaZulu have a good relationship which makes it possible for anything to happen between the two clubs," said the source.

"Ben Motshwari's situation at Pirates is monitored by AmaZulu although talks are ongoing between Pirates and the player's handlers regarding a new contract," the source concluded.
