Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi has urged his team to concentrate on their own performance, rather than getting distracted by the coaching changes at their upcoming Betway Premiership opponents, Marumo Gallants.
Gallants recently made significant changes to their coaching staff, with Sundra Govender appointed as an assistant coach alongside Duncan Lechesa, while head coach Dan Malesela was placed on special leave.

Despite these changes at Gallants, Ncikazi believes that the focus should be on Pirates' performance as they look to bounce back from their recent 1-0 defeat to Stellenbosch. The loss ended their impressive seven-game winning streak, and Ncikazi is adamant that the team must focus on regaining their momentum in the league.
"The dynamics of our next match just allow us to focus on ourselves," Ncikazi told the club's media department.
"The change in leadership in our opponent just indicates that we should focus on our previous performance, try and improve. Try and get three points, which is what we have planned for. [They are] not a very easy opponent to play against, but Pirates must get the points, and that's what you want to do."
Pirates' recent loss to Stellenbosch was a setback, but Ncikazi remains confident that his side can recover and perform at a high level. He emphasized that their primary goal is to secure the three points, regardless of the changes at Gallants, and to continue pushing forward in the league.
Meanwhile, for Bucs' Sunday fixture against Magesi FC, Papi Zothwane has been appointed head coach on an interim basis, and will be assisted by coach Jacky Ledwaba, as confirmed by the club.
