Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has explained what gives him courage that they will not drop too many points going into the business end of the season.
Pirates' three-game winning run was halted by Mamelodi Sundowns after they narrowly lost 1-0, against a side whose record-extending run of victories prevailed to 15 matches.

With Sundowns out of sight at the top of the table, the Buccaneers will be one of the teams fighting to qualify for the CAF Champions League and Riveiro says judging by their performance against the Brazilians, they won't drop too many points in the remaining games of the campaign.
"I cannot think so much about the objectives, it was a very intense game, the only thing I can tell is that playing in the level we did, considering the level of our opponent, 14 (15) games in a row that these guys win here in a difficult environment," Riveiro said in a press conference.
"We will continue the process in the future, very much strong and think everybody with a minimum knowledge about football can understand who was the better team and why," he said.
The Spanish mentor also explained that what gives him more hope is that they dominated Sundowns in the possession stakes, something that is rare in the PSL.
"We know that if we want to beat Sundowns, a team like Sundowns, not only Sundowns, one of the important things to do reduce the percentage of possession that they used to have," he went on.

"If I'm not mistaken we had 60 percent of possession. I don't know when was the last time that Sundowns lost possession against one team in the PSL, probably it's not so frequent," he added.
