Record-Making On Course, How Pirates Could Line Up

As Orlando Pirates will be heading to the Moses Mabhida Stadium aiming to make history by becoming the first team to win the MTN8 on three successive occasions, there could be surprises on how the champions might set up.

The Buccaneers will take on Stellenbosch FC in the eagerly awaited final at the iconic World Cup venue this evening.

Pirates come to the match high in confidence for their impressive results as they are yet to lose this season in the different competitions and the supporters have been backing the team to continue with their progress.

However, there have been concerns for the team as the week ended with doubts over certain key players and their readiness.

Influential defender Olisa Ndah and in-form attacker Monnapule Saleng have been notable absentees from some of the team's training sessions.

The two players have been out since getting injured last week in the league match against Polokwane City though indications have been that they could make the squad for the all-important match this evening after making progress.
