A former Orlando Pirates star has weighed in on the strong competition between Mohau Nkota and Monnapule Saleng in coach Jose Riveiro's team.
In recent matches, Nkota has appeared to be taking over from Saleng in Bucs' line-ups to the delight of the fans who have been impressed with his performances.

Nkota, 20, was the scorer of the two goals as the Buccaneers beat CR Belouizdad in the CAF Champions League in Algeria on Tuesday.
Speaking exclusively to the Siya crew, former Pirates striker James Mothibi said Nkota could be able to replace Saleng at the Soweto giants in future although it might be early for now to get into that discussion.
"Let me first say congratulations to Orlando Pirates for overcoming a well organised CR Belouizdad. I'm happy we scored two goals and overcame them. I am happy that Mohau Nkota scored those two goals because he is a player that I have been telling people about that they should watch out for. Well, for now I can't say that he is taking over from Saleng but the signs are there that he might take over from him," said Mothibi.

"Having said that, Saleng is still one of the best and is an influential player for Pirates. I am so happy that this boy (Nkota) is respecting the Pirates jersey because once you play for the club you must respect the jersey. I even spoke to him before the Champions League game and I told him who I thought would be a threat from CR Belouizdad. I'm happy that Mohau is doing what he is doing and achieving what he is achieving," concluded Mothibi.
