Orlando Pirates have paid tribute to former goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa on the 10th anniversary of his death.
Saturday, 26 October 2024 marks exactly ten years since the former Bafana Bafana shot-stopper lost his life.
Meyiwa was shot and killed at the home of girlfriend and actress Kelly Khumalo in Vosloorus on Sunday, 26 October.
Ten years on and the trial involving Meyiwa's death is still on going, although five men were arrested in 2020.

At the time of his death, Meyiwa had been playing regularly for the Buccaneers and was the goalkeeper for the South African national team.
One of Meyiwa's proudest moments in a Pirates shirt came in the 2013 CAF Champions League campaign, where he saved a few important penalties, which included two against TP Mazembe in the qualifiers and one against giants Al Ahly in the group stages.
Meyiwa made 157 appearances for the Soweto giants, while he also racked up seven appearances for Bafana Bafana before his untimely death ten years ago.
Meyiwa was also part of the Pirates squad that won back-to-back trebles, which include the Absa Premiership titles, Nedbank Cup, Telkom Knockout and two MTN8 triumphs.
The former Buccaneers star will not be forgotten.
