Tinkler: Ndoro Needed To Improve His Game

Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler has revealed where Tendai Ndoro needed to improve in order to get into the starting line-up. Read: Ndoro Double Sees Pirates Oust Chiefs Ndoro scored a brace on Saturday to help the Buccaneers beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-0 in the Nedank Cup, although he struggled to get into the side before his man-of-the-match performance. Tinkler reveals that the Zimbabwean had to improve some aspects of his game to be where he is now and scoring goals. "We had to talk to him and tell him that just scoring goals is not enough in modern football. You have to be able to work extremely hard both defensively and offensively which he had done," Tinkler said after the game. "He had to improve his game. He needed to improve his game and he responded well to that. He deserves to be starting the game and we're happy he is scoring."
