Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila secured their first-ever major trophy after defeating Chippa United to clinch the Nedbank Cup title.

TTM made just one change with Alfred Ndengane coming back into the heart of defence. Chippa, meanwhile, also made on change with Thamsanqa Sangweni coming into the side.
The men from Limpopo took the lead in the 27th minute when Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo's powerfully struck effort took a deflection off the head of Frederic Nsabiyumva and sailed into the corner of the net.
The Chilli Boys looked to bring themselves level in the 36th minute, Thabiso Lebitso's right-footed shot from the right side of the box was close, but missed to the right.
Chippa enjoyed more of the possession in the latter parts of the half, but TTM did well to stifle any threat in the 18-yard area.
Shortly after the interval, Chippa threatened as Thabo Rakhale laid the ball for Lerato Lamola, whose tame shot was saved by Ismail Watenga, before Celimpilo Ngema tried his luck with a long-range strike but it was comfortably dealt with in the end by Washington Arubi in the Chilli Boys goal minutes later.
In the 68th minute, Riaan Hanamub delivered from the right-hand side and Nsabiyumva rose highest but glanced his header straight at the goalkeeper.
TTM had gone into their shell in the second half and seemed to only be concerned with clinging onto their lead.
However, despite being very much on the back foot, Vhadau Vha Damani almost put the game to bed in the 83rd minute when they countered quickly and the ball was fed to a lone Bradley Theron, who cut inside and fired a shot inches wide of the upright.
Thabo Mnyamane then struck a ferocious shot towards the top left-hand corner which brought an acrobatic save out of Watenga as time began to run out.
In the end, those spurned opportunities late on would not come back to haunt the men from Limpopo, as they became the first team in the history of the Nedbank Cup to win the competition.
