The competition's seeding rules meant that SuperSport immediately knew who they would be facing in the competition after their seventh-place finish was confirmed at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
It doesn't come much bigger for Matsatsantsa than facing the defending champions of the MTN8, much more so for one of the club's new recruits in Sanoka.
The experienced defender was snapped up by the Tshwane giants from TS Galaxy and he now looks forward to facing the Buccaneers.
"If you play against teams like Pirates, you don't need any motivation," he told the Siya crew at the club's sponsorship announcement in Bryanston.
"The type of team they are, with all due respect, we are going there and as underdogs. The great thing about football is when you approach something and nobody knows what you are capable of and what you have been doing. Even our preparations I don't think we revealed them on TV, so nobody knows what we have been preparing.
"It's going to be a difficult game on Saturday but we are going there to win the game," he added.
Kick off for the match is at 18h00 at Orlando Stadium.
