Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa, is confident of a positive result against SuperSport United in their upcoming MTN8 quarter-final clash this Saturday, August 2.
Meyiwa who was part of the Orlando Pirates Carling Black Label Cup winning team this past Saturday against their fierce Soweto rivals, Kaizer Chiefs, is adamant that the victory over the weekend has given the side the winning moment they need heading into the MTN8 fixture.
Speaking to the official Orlando Pirates website, Senzo declared that the team will be ready to take on their Tshwane-based opponents.
"We will go back and prepare for this match. It is a difficult match because SuperSport is a good side, but of course, we will go to the match prepared to play for a good result," said Meyiwa.
"Psychologically we are 100%, maybe with a few more sessions we will also be 100% fit. Now we have won the Nedbank Cup last season, and again wining the Carling Cup last week is a massive morale boost for us," he concluded.
Orlando Pirates will welcome SuperSport United at the Orlando Stadium on 2 August 2014, with the fixture set to begin at 20:15.
