Official: Ex-Downs Striker Secures PSL Move

Motsepe Foundation Championship side Upington City have bolstered their squad with three experienced players, including a former Mamelodi Sundowns striker.

The newly-promoted side have only registered one win from their opening seven matches this campaign.

As a result, the club have brought in some fire power for the attack in Keletso Makgalwa and former Swallows forward Joseph Mhlongo.

The second tier side have also brought in former Maritzburg United defender Bonginkosi Makume after conceding nine goals in their first seven matches.

Makume spent one season with the Team of Choice, who were relegated to the Championship last campaign.

Makgalwa, Mhlongo and Makume could all make their debut against Marumo Gallants on Saturday afternoon.
