Klate has been out of a head coaching role since parting ways with Chippa United, which was his first-ever senior head coach gig.
The 38-year-old's time at the Chilli Boys did not last long, as he only made it to seven games last season before he was relieved of his duties in September 2022.
La Masia have started the campaign with three losses, two draws and two wins from their opening seven encounters, with the last match ending in a 4-0 humbling at the hands of Hungry Lions this past weekend.
Meanwhile in the DStv Premiership, struggling Cape Town Spurs have confirmed the signing of Burnley youth product Tremaine Eastmond.
