Cape Town Spurs dropped off the top of the log after a 2-1 loss to Venda Football Academy at Thohoyandou Stadium.
Onke Moletshe broke the deadlock for Venda on 21 minutes and Rushwin Dortley levelled matters 11 minutes before the break.
However, Nhlanhla Makhubela restored the lead for VFA just aftee the hour-mark.
Spurs dropped down to second on the log, a point behind leaders Casric Stars, with two games to go. The win for Venda took them up to tenth on the standings.
Pretoria Callies 1-1 Casric Stars
Casric Stars climbed up to the top of the standings despite a 1-1 draw against Pretoria Callies at TUT Stadium.
Siphelele Mthembu gave the Romans an early lead and Ngcebo Zulu got the equaliser for Casric with 11 minutes remaining.
Casric topped the log by one point, with two matches remaining while Callies settled for eighth spot.
Polokwane City 0-1 Uthongathi
Polokwane City missed the chance to go top of the log after a narrow 1-0 defeat against Uthongathi at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Rise and Shine remained in third spot on the log, three points behind leaders Casric, with two matches left.
The Cane Cutters, meanwhile, were unchanged on the table in seventh spot despite the win.
Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 1-2 Hungry Lions
Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila were relegated with two matches to spare after a narrow 2-1 loss to Hungry Lions at Dr. Molemela Stadium.
After a goalless first stanza, an own goal by Tani just after the break gave Lions the lead and Muzomuhle Khanyi doubled their lead on 73 minutes.
Tshakhuma pulled a goal in the dying minutes but it was too little too late as they remained second-from-bottom on the table, seven points from safety with two games to go and got relegated.
Platinum City Rovers 2-0 Black Leopards
Black Leopards were relegated with two games left after a 2-0 loss to Platinum City Rovers, who survived at their expense at Isak Steyl Stadium.
Lidoda Duvha remained at the bottom of the the log, eight points behind 14th-placed City Rovers with two games to go and therefore dropped down to the ABC Motsepe League.
City Rovers secured their second-tier status for next season.
All Stars 1-1 JDR Stars
Mamelodi Sundowns loanee Keletso Makgalwa scored for All Stars but his goal was cancelled out in a 1-1 draw against JDR Stars at Tsakane Stadium.
Makgalwa gave All Stars the lead just before the half-hour mark but Elias Mocheko found the equaliser for JDR early in the second stanza.
All Stars retained their fifth spot on the log, with the Hammer Boyz just two points behind them in sixth position.
Magesi 1-2 Baroka
Baroka survived relegation with two games to go after edging Magesi 2-1 in the Limpopo derby at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Sekela Sithole gave Bakgaga the lead in just the second minute and Ntiyiso Bombi doubled their lead seven minutes later.
Clement Moshwana pulled a goal back for Magesi on the stroke of half-time.
Baroka climbed above Magesi in 11th spot on the table while Dikwena slipped down to 12th, with the same number of points.
University of Pretoria 1-1 NB La Masia
NB La Masia secured their status with two games to go after a 1-1 draw against University of Pretoria at ABSA Tuks Stadium.
Samuel Julies got the breakthrough for AmaTuks just after the half-hour mark and La Masia snatched the equaliser in the dying minutes.
La Masia remained in 13th spot on the log and will no longer have relegation worries going into the last two games while AmaTuks were left lying ninth.
