Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila 0-2 Polokwane City

Polokwane City cemented top spot in the Motsepe Foundation Championship after defeating Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Sunday afternoon.

Rise and Shine were second when the day started but the win took them back above Cape Town Spurs by two points.

Tshakhuma, meanwhile, find themselves in 15th position, four points above the relegation spot.

Black Leopards 1-2 Pretoria Callies

Pretoria Callies bagged their third win in a row after defeating relegation-threatened Black Leopards 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.

The victory took Callies up to ninth spot on the league standings, while Leopards remain rooted to the bottom.

University of Pretoria 1-1 Venda Football Academy

University of Pretoria and Venda Football Academy could not be separated after playing to a 1-1 draw on Sunday afternoon.

Khomotso Marebane opened the scoring for the home side in the first half, but Rhulani Manzini got the equaliser from the penalty spot on 67 minutes.

Hungry Lions 1-1 Cape Town Spurs

Cape Town Spurs saw their four-game winning run come to an end after drawing 1-1 with Hungry Lions.

Ashley Cupido continued his fine season after opening the scoring with his 14th league goal in the second half.

However, Lions secured a point thanks to Muzomuhle Khanyi's penalty with three minutes left on the clock.

Baroka 1-1 NB La Masia

Baroka dropped to ninth spot on the standings after drawing 1-1 with NB La Masia on Saturday afternoon.

Dan Ndlovu opened the scoring for the home after the halftime break, before Yusuf Jappie levelled matters for the visitors on his birthday.

JDR Starz 1-3 Uthongathi

Uthongathi made it back-to-back wins in the league after defeating JDR Stars 3-1 at the Giant Stadium.

Ishmael Wadi gave Stars the lead early in the first half before Tshepo Liphoko equalised for the visitors.

Thato Mohlamme and Mondli Mbanjwa were both on target in the second half to hand Uthongathi maximum points.

Casric Stars 0-0 Magesi FC

Casric Stars' promotion push suffered a blow after playing to a goalless draw against Magesi FC on Saturday evening.

Stars will finish the weekend in third spot, while Magesi find themselves in 11th position.

All Stars 1-1 Platimum City Rovers

All Stars and Platinum City Rovers could not be separated after playing to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon.

The draw leaves All Stars in sixth spot, 11 points adrift of a play-off spot while Rovers sit in 10th position.
