Casric Stars 2-2 Marumo Gallants
Marumo Gallants started life in the second-tier with a point after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Casric Stars on Sunday afternoon at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.
Casric grabbed the lead on eight minutes through Tlholoe Loatlile but Bahlabane Ba Ntwa levelled matters on 18 minutes.
The visitors quickly took the lead eight minutes later but they were also pegged back eight minutes into the second stanza courtesy of a goal by former Kaizer Chiefs attacker Lebohang Lesako.
Baroka FC 1-2 Magesi
Magesi FC got their campaign off to a winning start after defeating Baroka FC in the Limpopo derby on Sunday afternoon at Global Stadium.
Tshepo Matsemela broke the deadlock for Magesi on 25 minutes from the penalty spot after he brought down in the box and Wonderboy Makhubu gave them a two-goal cushion ten minutes later.
Khomotjo Lekoloane pulled a goal back for Bakgaga six minutes before time but Dikwena managed to hold on to the maximum points.

Hungry Lions 2-0 University of Pretoria
University of Pretoria had a losing start after a narrow 1-0 loss to Hungry Lions on Saturday afternoon at Isak Steyl Stadium.
Outopie Jan Modise broke the deadlock for Lions on the half-hour mark and Raymond Daniels got the second goal just after the hour-mark mark.
Orbit College 2-1 Platinum City Rovers
Orbit College had a dream start to life in the second-tier after a 2-1 win over Platinum City Rovers on Saturday afternoon at Giant Stadium.
Orbit were promoted from the ABC Motsepe League after reaching the final of the national play-offs.
Venda Football Academy 0-0 JDR Stars
Venda Football Academy and JDR Stars could not be separated after playing to a goalless draw on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.
JDR goalkeeper Marcel Dandjinou denied Venda some good chances in the first stanza and the second stanza did not produce much goal-mouth action, as they settled for the share of the spoils.

Maritzburg United 1-0 Milford FC
Maritzburg United had a winning start after edging Milford 1-0 in the KwaZulu-Natal derby on Friday evening at King Zwelithini Stadium.
Maritzburg, who were relegated from the DStv Premiership, had a completely different line-up that used to play in the top flight, with only Tumelo Njoti and Friday Samu the only ones remaining from their previous usual team.
Milford, who were campaigning in the ABC Motsepe League, bought the status of Uthongathi and remained in the Richards Bay area.
NB La Masia 1-0 Upington City
La Masia had a perfect start after a narrow 1-0 win over newly-promoted Upington City on Friday afternoon at Dobsonville Stadium.
Ofense Dube scored the decisive goal for La Masia just after the hour-mark.
Pretoria Callies 0-0 Black Leopards
Black Leopards, who were relegated in the same league last season, started with a goalless draw against Pretoria Callies on Friday afternoon at TUT Stadium.
Leopards bought the status of All Stars and were permitted to continue using their usual name.
