United found the equaliser 20 minutes before time through a free-kick by Reagan Van Der Ross.

Upington City 2-1 Venda Football Academy

Upington City got their first points of the season after edging Venda Football Academy 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at GWK Stadium.

Upington had an early goal disallowed for a foul on Venda goalkeeper by Carl Lark.

Venda thought they had broken the deadlock early in the second stanza after finding the back of the net but their goal was also ruled out for pushing in the box.

Lark eventually broke the deadlock for City 14 minutes before time and Trevor Mokwena doubled their lead three minutes later.

VFA pulled a goal back in stoppage time.

Black Leopards 0-1 Casric Stars

Casric won their first game of the season after a narrow 1-0 win over Black Leopards on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

After a goalless first stanza, Decide Chauke eventually broke the deadlock for Casric 20 minutes before time and that was enough to hand them the maximum points.

Milford FC 0-1 Orbit College FC

Newly promoted side Orbit College maintained their perfect start after a narrow 1-0 win over Milford on Saturday afternoon at Chatsworth Stadium.

Orbit went ahead on eight minutes and were reduced to ten men on 66 minutes but managed to hold on to victory, although Milford also finished with ten men after they had a man sent off in stoppage time.

The North West outfit were the only side to win their first two games and went to the top of the table.

Marumo Gallants 0-0 Hungry Lions

Marumo Gallants remain winless after they were held to a goalless draw by Hungry Lions on Saturday afternoon at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Magesi 0-0 Pretoria Callies

Magesi's winning start to the season could not continue after playing to a goalless draw against Pretoria Callies on Saturday afternoon at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Dikwena clocked four points in two games after they opened their season with a 2-1 win over Baroka while Callies played to a second straight game without goals, after they fired blanks together with Black Leopards in their opener.

Platinum City Rovers 2-2 Baroka

Baroka picked up their first point of the season after a 2-2 draw against Platinum City Rovers, as both sides had a man sent off on Friday afternoon at Isak Steyl Stadium.

City Rovers had a bad start after they were reduced to ten men midway through the first stanza following the straight red-card of Sifiso, for a dangerous tackle on Thulani Sikhosana.

Dan Ndlovu eventually broke the deadlock for Bakgaga ten minutes into the second stanza.

But the Limpopo side were also reduced to ten men on 64 minutes after Basil Mphahlele was also red-carded.

That allowed City Rovers back into the game as they equalised with nine minutes to go and snatched the lead two minutes before time.

However, Baroka salvaged their first point of the season with the equaliser in stoppage time.

JDR Stars 0-0 NB La Masia

JDR Stars remain without a win after they were held to a goalless draw by NB La Masia on Friday afternoon at Giant Stadium.
