Sekhukhune United will be fighting to keep their top eight spot in the DStv Premiership when they visit Royal AM on Tuesday evening.
Teams: Royal AM v Sekhukhune United
Date: 15 February 2022
Babina Noko resumed their campaign on a bad note after they were knocked out of the Nedbank Cup in the first round by GladAfrica Championship side Platinum City Rovers on penalties on Saturday.
Sekhukhune will be wary of dropping out of the top eight, as they were on a four-match winless run after ending 2021 with a goalless draw against Chippa United.
MacDonald Makhubedu's charges are lying eighth on the log with 25 points, just three points ahead of ninth-placed Cape Town City.
In contrast, Thwihli Thwahla had a perfect start in their return to action after booking their spot in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup with a 2-1 win over the Citizens on Saturday.
John Maduka's troops are lying seventh on the table with 26 points and will be looking to challenge for continental places, just four points behind second-placed Orlando Pirates, with a couple of games in hand.
Sekhukhune will be chasing a league double over Royal after a narrow 1-0 win in the first round clash in November last year at Emirates Airline Park.
