DStv Premiership Starting XI: Orlando Pirates v Kaizer Chiefs 05 March 2022

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs renew their rivalry n the DStv Premiership on Saturday afternoon at Orlando Stadium.

Teams: Orlando Pirates v Kaizer Chiefs

Date: 05 March 2022

Venue: Orlando Stadium

Time: 15h30

Pirates will be looking to end their sequence of draws, as their two consecutive stalemates against Golden Arrows and Cape Town City took their overall tally of draws to 11 in the campaign.

The Buccaneers missed the chance to enter the derby ahead of Chiefs on the log, as a point against City in midweek left them still lying fourth, although they are equal on points with third-placed Amakhosi.

The Glamour Boys, meanwhile, will be chasing back-to-back victories after getting their first win since the restart following their last-gasp win over Baroka last weekend.

Pirates will be without midfielder Goodman Mosele due to suspension after he picked up his fourth booking in draw against the Citizens while Amakhosi striker Samir Nurkovic is also suspended after he got his fourth yellow card in the win over Bakgaga.

Pirates will be under pressure to end Chiefs' recent dominance in the derby, as the Glamour Boys have won four of the last five league meetings between the sides, including a stoppage time 2-1 victory in the first round clash at FNB Stadium.
