In-form Marumo Gallants will be chasing a spot in the top eight in the DStv Premiership standings when they host Chippa United on Wednesday evening.
Teams: Marumo Gallants v Chippa United
Date: 16 March 2022
Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium
Time: 17h00
Gallants are one of the in-form teams in the league, having won five matches in a row in all competitions, including a penalty shootout victory over Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup last 16 encounter.
Bahalabane Ba Ntwa's last league clash was a narrow 1-0 win over Stellenbosch, which saw them get closer to the top eight in terms of points in tenth place with 28 points and they will get into the top half of the log if they clinch their fourth straight win in the Premiership.
The Chilli Boys, meanwhile, ended their four-match winless streak that included three losses, after edging Golden Arrows 2-1 the last time out.
Kurt Lentjies' charges moved up three points clear of the relegation zone in 13th place, as a result, and will be looking to get further away from the danger zone.
Chippa will be gunning for revenge after they conceded two late goals against Dan Malesela's men to lose 3-2 on home soil just over two weeks ago.
