This could be a tough encounter for Pirates, who are placed second on the DStv Premiership table, against Saoura, who are second in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1, just four points behind leaders CR Belouizdad.
Pirates reached the group stage with a 5-0 aggregate victory over Liberian team LPRC Oilers Monrovia in the qualifiers in 2021.
Soura got past Ghana's Hearts of Oak after overturning a 2-0 defeat away to claim a 4-0 victory in the return leg in Algeria to qualify for the group stages.
The Algerians have reached the group stages of the Confederation Cup and CAF Champions League on two occasions but have not gone further in either competition.
The two sides have never faced each other before which makes things interesting as both are currently in form in their domestic football leagues.
