CAF Champions League Starting XI: AmaZulu v ES Setif 25 February 2022

AmaZulu will be looking to build on their first CAF Champions League group stage win when they host ES Setif on Friday evening at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Teams: AmaZulu v ES Setif

Date: 25 February 2022

Venue: Moses Mabhida Stadium

Time: 18h00

Usuthu were not out of place in their group stage opener against CAF Confederation Cup holders and experienced Raja Casablanca, as they nearly stole a point away but succumbed to a late goal to lose 1-0.

Benni McCarthy's charges turned on the heat in their home game against Horoya, as they got their first win after edging the Guinean side 1-0 and could have won by a better margin if they had converted some of the many chances they created.

AmaZulu are placed second in Group B with three points, equal on points with their opponents Setif.

The Algerian outfit have an identical record as Usuthu after they also edged Horoya 1-0 and lost by the same scoreline to Raja Casablanca the last time out.

The two sides have almost the same standing also in their domestic leagues, as Setif are lying sixth in the Algerian Ligue 1 while AmaZulu are in seventh position in the DStv Premiership.

AmaZulu: Mothwa, Gumede, Khumalo, Xoki, Zulu, Buchanan, Makhaula, Memela, Ceesay, Mulenga, Mthembu.
