Teams: SuperSport United v Stellenbosch
Date: 30 November 2019
Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium
SuperSport United will be eager to stake a claim in the Absa Premiership title race when they host Stellenbosch FC on Saturday evening.
Matsatsantsa reignited their title aspirations with back-to-back away wins over Bidvest Wits and Maritzburg United.
Sipho Mbule was on target, together with Kudakwashe Mahachi, as Kaitano Tembo's charges clinched a 2-0 win over the Team of Choice on Wednesday.
As a result, SuperSport climbed up to third on the table, just a point behind second-placed Mamelodi Sundowns, who won't be in league action over the weekend.
In contrast, Stellies are already in a battle to avoid the drop after suffering a 4-0 thumping by table-topping Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday.
It was the side's fifth loss of the campaign, while Steve Barker's army have won only two league games so far this season.
The defeat to Chiefs left them languishing third from bottom, just one point above bottom side Chippa United.
