Teams: SuperSport United v Kaizer Chiefs
Date: 04 January 2020
Venue: Mbombela Stadium
Absa Premiership leaders Kaizer Chiefs resume league matters with a tricky trip to SuperSport United on Saturday evening.
Chiefs were certainly the standout performers in the first half of the season as they sit seven points clear at the top league table.
However, Ernst Middendorp's men ended 2019 with a point after drawing 1-1 with Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium before the mid-season break.
The AmaKhosi will come up against a SuperSport outfit who also ended the year without a win after falling to a loss to Chippa United.
Despite the loss, Kaitano Tembpo's troops still sit in third position but are 11 points behind tonight's opposition.
SuperSport have failed to beat the Soweto giants in their last four attempts, while they last tasted league success over Chiefs back in 2017.
