Teams: SuperSport United v Highlands Park
Date: 06 December 2019
Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium
SuperSport United's title credentials will be tested when they host Highlands Park at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday evening.
Matsatsantsa will be hoping to stay in the title race after combining a seven-match unbeaten run in the league, which has seen the side occupy second spot on the table.
However, SuperSport could have been two points clear of third-placed Mamelodi Sundowns had they collected maximum points against Stellenbosch FC last Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Lions of the North are going through a slump after failing to win any of their last five matches in the league.
Owen Da Gama's charges lost two in that streak and drew the last three, including a goalless draw with Cape Town City last Saturday. As a result, they have dropped to sixth on the table with 17 points from 13 matches.
The sides have already met this season in the MTN8 final, with SuperSport claiming a 1-0 win thanks to Bradley Grobler at the beginning of October.
