Teams: Polokwane City v Orlando Pirates
Date: 07 January 2020
Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium
Orlando Pirates will be aiming to return to winning ways when they visit Polokwane City in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday evening.
The Buccaneers began the year with a point after playing to a 1-1 draw against Bloemfontein Celtic, after leading for most of the game.
Following the draw and other results this past weekend, the Soweto giants have dropped to sixth in the standings, five points adrift of the top three.
Polokwane, meanwhile, ended their 10-game losing streak this weekend after defeating Chippa United in Clinton Larsen's second game in charge.
The victory moved Rise and Shine up to 12th spot and could move up three more places with three points this evening.
However, Polokwane failed to clinch a single point off Pirates last season, with the Buccaneers doing the league double.
