Fresh from ending Kaizer Chiefs' Telkom Knockout journey, Maritzburg play host to SuperSport United in the Absa Premiership this evening.
The Team of Choice advanced to their first Telkom Knockout final after a brace from Judas Moseamedi secured a 2-1 victory over the Soweto giants on Sunday afternoon.
The win over Chiefs extended Maritzburg's unbeaten run to eight matches across all competitions, although their last league match ended in a 2-2 draw with Bloemfontein Celtic.
SuperSport, meanwhile, got their league campaign back on track with a 1-0 victory away to Bidvest Wits thanks to Sipho Mbule's late goal before the international break.
Victory for SuperSport this evening will see the MTN8 champions will move to within one point of second-place Mamelodi Sundowns.
When these sides met at the Harry Gwala Stadium last season, the Team of Choice ran out 3-1 winners with Moseamedi netting a brace on the day.
