Teams: Cape Town City v AmaZulu
Date: 8 January 2020
Venue: Cape Town Stadium
Cape Town City will be aiming to clinch back-to-back Absa Premiership wins for the first time this season when they host AmaZulu this evening.
The Citizens secured their first win under coach Jan Olde Riekerink on the weekend with a 1-0 triumph over Cape Town Stadium.
It was also the first time City had scored in four matches, while the side moved up to 11th spot with the win.
AmaZulu, meanwhile, were brought back down to earth at Loftus Stadium after losing 3-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns on Satuday.
The defeat leaves Usuthu two points off the relagation spot, but a win this evening could see the side rise as high as 10th.
New signing Mduduzi Mdantsane has been named in the City squad for the first time since completing his move after leaving Baroka FC last year.
