"Captain Themba Zwane has penned a contract extension, keeping him at the Club beyond the 2024/25 season!," the club announced on social media.
Zwane's contract with Sundowns was set to expire at the end of the current 2024/25 season.
The 35-year-old has also been out of action since October last year when he picked up an injury while playing for Bafana Bafana in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
However, the attacking midfielder has now settled his future by putting pen-to-paper on a new deal with the Betway Premiership leaders.
