The Siya crew has established that Mamelodi Sundowns do not expect Andile Jali to return to Chloorkop at any point this season, with his time at the club said to be all but over.
It's understood that things between the veteran campaigner and the club have reached an untenable point, and this may have been evident in how the Brazilians did not wish the Matatiele-born star 'Happy Birthday' on their official social media platforms on April 10, as seems to be the protocol at the club, despite him still having a contract with the Tshwane giants.
Sundowns have also opted to refrain from making any comments or statements on Jali, as they wait for the final few months of the deal for the official separation.
The 33-year-old has not been at the club's base for about a month now, after he allegedly arrived at training under the influence of alcohol, together with fellow teammate Sipho Mbule.
Sundowns are already planning for life without the former Bafana Bafana midfielder and it's understood that they are not expecting him to return to Chloorkop to see out his contract in training.
It's believed that he will see out his deal while he is at home, and he will be able to join a club of his choice from July 1. There has been no shortage of interest in the experienced midfielder, as Soccer Laduma recently reported of SuperSport United's interest in the player.
AmaZulu FC and Cape Town City are believed to have also registered an interest in Jali, while Stellenbosch FC are also said to be looking at the possibility of bringing the bulky player on board, as their current midfielder Sibusiso Mthethwa has, according to sources, attracted serious interest from Kaizer Chiefs.
