Mamelodi Sundowns have returned to their Chloorkop training base where they are gearing up to take on Orlando Pirates in four weeks' time.

The Brazilians, like all other teams in the DStv Premiership received a well-earned rest owing to the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The club's coaches and technical staff made use of the opportunity and made their way to the world spectacle where they were seemingly taking notes, while the players enjoyed some down time.

On Monday, the Brazilians assembled to begin preparations for their clash against Pirates and will have four weeks to prepare for the encounter on December 31.

As reported by the Siya crew, Sundowns are set to welcome back more than six players who were nursing respective injuries, amongst them top goalscorer Peter Shalulile, Rivaldo Coetzee and Terrence Mashego.

Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena earlier on this season, eluded that the Brazilians could potentially make their way to Europe for some high intensity training matches as they prepare for the second half of the season, although the club are set to release more detail in the coming weeks.
