The next few months could be crucial in the career of Reyaad Pieterse at Mamelodi Sundowns, with the player currently not getting game time at Chloorkop following the addition of yet another top goalkeeper in Ronwen Williams.
Sundowns exercised the option in the player's contract before the end of last season and is now in the final year of his contract with the DSTV Premiership outfit, having joined them in 2018 after leaving Tshwane rivals SuperSport United on a three-year deal and an option for two more years.

The one-year option Sundowns took on Pieterse was the second one, having done so the previous season.
Pieterse left SuperSport are struggling to get ahead of Williams and is now faced with the same situation at Chloorkop, competing with him again, while there is also Denis Onyango and Kennedy Mweene in the picture.
Sundowns are expected to make a decision on the future of the former Kaizer Chiefs shot-stopper, who has made one appearance this season in a CAF Champions League qualifying rounds.
It's understood that Pieterse, 30, is looking to get more game time and that's likely to only come if he were to leave Chloorkop, though Sundowns could also look at keeping him as back-up for Williams, as Onyango and Mweene are heading towards the end of their careers.
