Mamelodi Sundowns are understood to be in talks for a potential replacement for Denis Onyango, reliable sources have indicated.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Onyango is nearing the June 2024 expiry date of his contract and there has been talk of him possibly getting a new deal in a different post in the club's development structures as opposed to that of playing.

Depending on whether the arrangement will go as planned, the veteran shot-stopper could hang up his gloves at the end of the season, as reported by this publication.
The Brazilians have already been linked with Lesotho national team goalkeeper Sekhoane Moerane who has been impressive in recent months for his club (Lesotho Mounted Police) and country.
News reaching the Siya crew is that talks have already started behind the scenes for the 26-year-old to potentially make the switch to Chloorkop at the end of the season.

"The talks have started behind the scenes for Sundowns to possibly sign Lesotho national team goalkeeper Sekhoane Moerane at the end of the season," said the source.
"The player has been made available by his club to join Sundowns. He has been identified as a potential replacement for Onyango," the source told Soccer Laduma.
