Kouki says since the draw for the quarterfinals was made, he knew that Sundowns were on a higher level than all the other teams.
"Since the draw was happening, you can see all the teams are equal, Mamelodi Sundowns is the team that had the difference, with the quality of players that they have, technically, coaching," Kouki said in a press conference via a translator.
"It's a very good team, in all the teams in the quarterfinals, Sundowns (are) different from all other teams with the quality," he said.
Kouki was also asked if he thinks Sundowns can go all the way to win the CAF Champions League.
"Yes, of course," he replied.
"The quality of Mamelodi Sundowns, how they play, obviously one of the teams that can take the Champions League," he added.
